St Cuthbert
"Symbol of St. Cuthbert of the Cudgel" - Ink on Card Stock - 8.5" X 11"

“Chaos and evil prevail where good folk do nothing and obstinacy brings lumps to the heads of the unfaithful"
- St. Cuthbert

"Seahorseunicorn" - Charcoal and pencil on pink card stock - 8.5" X 11"

“Unicorns," I said. "Very dangerous. You go first.”
― Jim Butcher, Summer Knight

“Sea horses have complicated routines for courtship, and tend to mate under full moons, making musical sounds while doing so. They live in long-term monogamous partnerships. What is perhaps most unusual, though, is that it is the male sea horse that carries the young for up to six weeks. Males become properly "pregnant," not only carrying, but fertilizing and nourishing the developing eggs with fluid secretions. The image of males giving birth is perpetually mind-blowing: a turbid liquid bursts forth from the brood pouch, and like magic, minuscule but fully formed sea horses appear out of the cloud.”

― Jonathan Safran Foer, Eating Animals

"Weird" - Ink on card stock - 8.5" X 11"

"If you want to get laid, go to college. If you want an education, go to the library."

"Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid."

"I never set out to be weird. It was always other people who called me weird."

-Frank Zappa

New Evil Empire
"New Evil Empire" - Photo manipulation

Weapons, not food, not homes, not shoes
Not need, just feed the war cannibal animal
I, walk from corner to the rubble, that used to be a library
Line up to the mind cemetery now!
What we don't know keeps the contracts alive and movin
They don't gotta burn the books, they just remove 'em
While arms warehouses fill as quick as the cells
-RATM, Bulls on Parade
Thousand Year Stare

"Thousand Year Stare" - Ink on card stock - 8.5" X 11"

"If the stars should appear but one night every thousand years how man would marvel and stare."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

I've been an artist since I was old enough to pick up a pencil... I create art on a daily basis, from drawing in various mediums, to painting, photography, digital, sculpture, makeup, assemblage and just about any kind of art I can get my hands on.

I never went to college, didn't graduate high-school and left home at the age of 16... I have understudied some interesting artists, from a medical illustrator, to an art restorer, but I pretty much taught myself most of what I know...

Typically my art is created with the intent to provoke a response in the observer... My style is heavily influenced by surrealists like Dali, comic book artists like Frank Miller, adult artists like Patric Nagel, and propaganda artists from all over the world.... I could go on and on about my influences....

My art often deals with social or political messages...

I have shown/ sold my art in galleries and have been published several times...

Professionally I work multiple jobs, one for a major financial institution and the other is in construction where I get to work my art into building things of lasting beauty, and my art...

I am 43, married with 3 children.

I sleep about 5 hours a day or less. I think I will get enough sleep when I am dead...

I like all kinds of music and it influences my art... My favorite song is Aenima by Tool

I love books, especially classic fiction... and have read hundreds of them... They inspire me too... My favorite book is 1984 by Orwell, or Machiavelli's the Prince, or maybe Twain's Huck Fin... hell, I have a lot of favorites...

I grew up poor on a farm in nowhere Georgia, but have been in the Atlanta area for the better part of the last 2 decades.

I box, I skateboard, I hike, I canoe, I fish, and I'm a pretty good archer...

I like role playing games, video games, Sci-fi movies, and cartoons...

I love comic books...

I am pretty much a Atheist and an Anarchist... not exactly, but for those of you who need labels... I'm ok with those...

I am outspoken, and I dont tolerate any kind of discrimination...

I am a highly self motivated, active person with an active imagination...

Inspiration is never a problem for me... I have more ideas for art in a day than I could ever get down on paper in a "finished" version..,

I love to collaborate with other artists, and though I will take commissions, they have to be just right... and I still probably wont like them unless there is very little input from the person who wants the commission.

My repeat offending subjects will always be, skulls, eyes, flowers, clouds and the human form...………
“Everyone must leave something behind when he dies, my grandfather said. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you're there.

It doesn't matter what you do, he said, so long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that's like you after you take your hands away. The difference between the man who just cuts lawns and a real gardener is in the touching, he said. The lawn-cutter might just as well not have been there at all; the gardener will be there a lifetime.”
Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
  • Listening to: Gamatik - the unfallen kingdom
  • Eating: Cigaretts
  • Drinking: Coffee
