“I shall tell you where we are. We're in the most extreme and utter region of the human mind. A dim, subconscious underworld. A radiant abyss where men meet themselves. Hell, Netley. We're in Hell.”

“In vain do we seek tranquility in the desert; temptations are always with us; our passions, represented by the demons, never let us alone: those monsters created by the heart, those illusions produced by the mind, those vain specters that are our errors and our lies always appear before us to seduce us; they attack us even in our fasting or our mortifications, in other words, in our very strength.”

― Montesquieu

“There was much of the beautiful, much of the wanton, much of the bizarre, something of the terrible, and not a little of that which might have excited disgust.”

“Every small town has at least one house the children whisper about; the type of house that has always been abandoned; where the once pristine white paint has faded to a grimy gray; where the windows are boarded, and the lawn never grows; where children hold their breath and close their eyes as they pass by. A house that sounds like it contains an army of whispering spirits when the wind whistles through the nearby trees.

In the town of Blackwood, that house could be found on Creep Street. It had stood there as long as he could remember.”

― The Blood Brothers, The House on Creep Street

This thing was due for an update.... so here it is as of Dec 2013

I've been an artist since I was old enough to pick up a pencil... I create art on a daily basis, from drawing in various mediums, to painting, photography, digital, sculpture, makeup, assemblage and just about any kind of art I can get my hands on.

I never went to college, didn't graduate high-school and left home at the age of 16... I have understudied some interesting artists, from a medical illustrator, to an art restorer, but I pretty much taught myself most of what I know...

Typically my art is created with the intent to provoke a response in the observer... My style is heavily influenced by surrealists like Dali, comic book artists like Frank Miller, adult artists like Patric Nagel, and propaganda artists from all over the world.... I could go on and on about my influences....

My art often deals with social or political messages...

I have shown/ sold my art in galleries and have been published several times...

Professionally I work multiple jobs, one for a major financial institution and the other is in construction where I get to work my art into building things of lasting beauty, and my art...

I am 40, married with 3 children.

I sleep about 5 hours a day or less. I think I will get enough sleep when I am dead...

I like all kinds of music and it influences my art... My favorite song is Aenima by Tool

I love books, especially classic fiction... and have read hundreds of them... They inspire me too... My favorite book is 1984 by Orwell, or Machiavelli's the Prince, or maybe Twain's Huck Fin... hell, I have a lot of favorites...

I grew up poor on a farm in nowhere Georgia, but have been in the Atlanta area for the better part of the last 2 decades.

I box, I skateboard, I hike, I canoe, I fish, and I'm a pretty good archer...

I like role playing games, video games, Sci-fi movies, and cartoons...

I love comic books...

I am pretty much a Atheist and an Anarchist... not exactly, but for those of you who need labels... I'm ok with those...

I am outspoken, and I dont tolerate any kind of discrimination...

I am a highly self motivated, active person with an active imagination...

Inspiration is never a problem for me... I have more ideas for art in a day than I could ever get down on paper in a "finished" version..,

I love to collaborate with other artists, and though I will take commissions, they have to be just right... and I still probably wont like them unless there is very little input from the person who wants the commission.

My repeat offending subjects will always be, skulls, eyes, flowers, clouds and the human form...………
If you are interested, I had the pleasure to be interviewed by - check it out....…
